Catalog Check privacy
Selection observations stay local and ephemeral.
Catalog Check asks Lightroom for two documented virtual-copy observations and reduces them to aggregate counts shown only in the dialog.
Inside the plug-in
Catalog Check has no product account, telemetry, analytics, advertising, network, upload, entitlement, remote-font, or update-check feature. After the user invokes its command, it asks Lightroom for the active catalog, current target photo, and current explicitly selected photo objects.
For each selected object within the 1,000-photo limit, it requests only isVirtualCopy and countVirtualCopies. Only aggregate counts and availability states leave the thin Lightroom SDK adapter.
Data it does not expose
The plug-in does not request, copy, display, hash, or persist filenames, paths, photo identifiers, job or client names, captions, keywords, collection membership, image bytes, or SDK objects. It does not open a .lrcat database directly, acquire catalog write access, change metadata, read or write customer files, or create a report.
Website, payment, and support
A website, payment provider, download provider, email provider, or optional support channel used outside the plug-in may process limited purchase, delivery, security-log, or communication data under that service’s separately published notice. Catalog Check itself sends none of its observed catalog data to those services.
